Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This page explains every cookie and similar storage technology wow.gg uses, who sets them, how long they live, and how to control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies (and Similar Technologies)
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. We also use related browser technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which work the same way for privacy purposes — this policy covers all of them.
Some are set directly by wow.gg ("first-party"), others by services we embed such as Google Analytics or Yandex.Metrica ("third-party"). Both kinds are explained below.
2. Cookies We Use
We split cookies into four categories so you can grant consent only to what you want. The table lists the actual cookies set on wow.gg today.

3. How to Manage Your Choices
When you first visit wow.gg from the EU, UK, Switzerland, Brazil, China, South Korea, Thailand, India or Quebec, we ask for explicit consent before loading analytics and marketing cookies. Click "Customize" in the banner or use the button below to change your choice at any time.
From the US, Australia, Japan and Singapore we use an opt-out model: analytics is on by default but a single click in the banner — or the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser — switches it off. We honour GPC automatically.
You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use extensions like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger or NoScript. Disabling cookies will not stop the Site from working, but some features (staying signed in, remembering your language) require Necessary cookies.
4. Third-Party Privacy Policies
The services we use process the data they collect under their own privacy policies. Read them directly:
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy whenever we add or remove a service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will prompt the cookie banner to re-appear so you can review your choices.
