Alchemy The War Within

Alchemy has always been one of the most popular and sought‑after professions. Only alchemists can craft the potions and elixirs that every player needs — they’re essential for raids and dungeons. Alchemists can produce dozens of different potions that:

• affect a character’s stats;
• change their appearance;
• restore health or mana;
• boost gathering or crafting skills, allowing players to collect more materials or craft higher‑quality items.

This profession is among the most profitable because reagents are inexpensive, while potions and elixirs are constantly in demand and sell in large quantities on the Auction House. For example:

• Algari Potion Cauldron;
• Algari Flask Cauldron.

You can learn the profession from one of two specialized NPCs:

Tarig — Dornogal

Shalba — City of Threads

We’ve tried to provide you with the fastest and most cost‑effective way to level the profession. However, you may need slightly more resources due to the random nature of leveling. Some yellow and orange recipes may not yield the desired results, so keep a close eye on your remaining resources after learning and crafting each recipe.

To level up, you’ll need the following materials:

• Arterial Catalyst ×8;
• Artisan’s Mettle ×5;
• Mycobloom ×84;
• Arathor’s Spear ×72;
• Any herbs ×50;
• Gilded Vial ×50.

We recommend selecting the lowest‑quality reagents (), as the quality of the reagent doesn’t affect leveling speed. This helps you save on materials.

Once you’ve gathered all the necessary ingredients, you can begin leveling the profession:

Levels 1–21

Craft Algari Health Potion ×10

Required:

• ×50 Gilded Vial;
• ×60 Mycobloom.

Levels 21–27

Craft Risky Experiment ×10

Required:

• ×4 Arterial Catalyst;
• ×40 Any herb of your choice.

Levels 27–35

Craft Ground Petals ×12

Required:

• ×72 Arathor’s Spear;
• ×24 Mycobloom.

Unfortunately, leveling Alchemy beyond level 35 involves a high degree of randomness. You might immediately unlock rare recipes that let you quickly reach level 100 — or these recipes might not appear at all, or only later, significantly complicating further leveling.

However, there is a guaranteed method to reach level 100: crafting either:

• Algari Potion Cauldron;
• Algari Flask Cauldron.

To do this, you need to spend 30 skill points in your profession under the Potent Potions or Marvelous Flasks categories.

If you don’t have skill points or don’t want to spend them on these branches, you can craft available recipes until they turn green. During this process, you might unlock higher‑level recipes. In this case:

1. First, level up the current recipe until it turns green.
2. Then switch to the new recipe.
3. Repeat this process until you reach level 100.

Note: When leveling via recipes, you might occasionally unlock rare recipes. Crafting these items can be very expensive due to rare reagents. Always check the cost of reagents before crafting.
