Blazing Sunclaws — Transmog Set Guide
Overview

Blazing Sunclaws is a one-handed fist weapon with a model styled after the dungeons of Draenor. It is a pair of curved gold-and-orange claws outlined by tongues of solar flame — an appearance that directly references the arakkoa and their sun god Rukhmar, whose followers inhabit the Spires of Arak.
The weapon is meant for classes that wield agility-based fist weapons: rogues, shamans, monks, and demon hunters. The claws look striking as a pair, since their fiery silhouette is amplified when two identical models are dual-wielded.
In the current Midnight expansion the item has returned to rotation: the Skyreach dungeon is among the first-season Mythic+ challenges, so the claws are once again farmable at a modern character level.
Source
Blazing Sunclaws drop from Rukhran — the third boss of the Skyreach dungeon in the Spires of Arak. Rukhran is a massive solar bird that legend calls a spawn of the arakkoa sun god Rukhmar.
- Dungeon: Skyreach, in the southwestern part of the Spires of Arak. The entrance sits on a cliff, at roughly the coordinates
36.0, 33.9. - Boss order: Ranjit, Araknath, Rukhran, then High Sage Viryx. The claws are obtained from the third boss.
- Difficulties: Normal, Heroic, and Mythic+ modes all work. In Midnight the dungeon is included in the seasonal Mythic+ rotation.
- Group or solo: thanks to the scaling of old zones, the dungeon clears comfortably solo at the maximum level of 90, except for high Mythic+ keys.
- Attempt limit: farming is unlimited — you can re-enter the dungeon as many times as you need.
Entrance coordinates for convenience:
Who It Suits Visually
- Pairs with "fiery" and "solar" armor sets — gold, orange, and tongues of flame complete the look of a sun priest or a fire warrior.
- Harmonizes with gear in a red-and-gold palette, especially sets with arakkoa and Draenor themes.
- Looks great on characters with dark armor thanks to the bright contrast of the burning claws.
- A fine choice for monks and rogues building a look around the element of fire or light.
Tips
1
The fastest way to get the claws is to farm Skyreach on Heroic difficulty: the entry barrier is low, and Rukhran dies within seconds at level 90.
2
The drop chance is low, so plan for several runs; re-entering the dungeon is not time-limited.
3
Bring classes with high movement speed and strong pack clears — a paladin, demon hunter, or monk runs the dungeon noticeably faster.
4
Rukhran is the third boss; you must kill Ranjit and Araknath before him, so there is no full skip to reach him.
5
If you are farming the look for dual wield, remember: the second copy of the claws drops from the same source, so plan for more attempts.
6
The claws come from the same boss on every difficulty — pick whichever one clears fastest for you.
