Farstrider's Chopper is an epic one-handed axe added to World of Warcraft in the Midnight expansion. The item is a one-handed axe and occupies the main hand slot. Visually, the weapon is built in the distinctive aesthetic of the Farstriders of Quel'Thalas: muted dark-gold tones, a curved blade with runic engraving, and a leather-wrapped haft — all of it evoking the image of the forest rangers of the elven lands.
It is crafted by Blacksmiths who have invested knowledge points into the Weaponsmithing branch, and it is considered one of the best crafted weapon options for Fury Warriors and Enhancement Shamans in the first season of Midnight.
Farstrider's Chopper is crafted in Blacksmithing — a profession available to characters at the maximum level of 90.
Specialization: Weaponsmithing → the "Axes, Picks, and Halberds" branch. The recipe is unlocked by investing knowledge points into this specialization branch.

Binding: becomes soulbound on pickup. The craft can be ordered through the profession system from any Blacksmith with the required specialization.
Spark of Radiance is a Season 1 timegated reagent. One spark can be obtained once per week through the weekly quests in Silvermoon City or as a random reward from content when below the maximum threshold.
Silvermoon Weapon Wrap is crafted by Leatherworkers and is freely sold on the auction house.
The recipe is unlocked through knowledge points in the "Weaponsmithing → Axes, Picks, and Halberds" specialization — invest in this branch in advance if you plan to craft several weapons of this type.
The Spark of Radiance is the main bottleneck. You can't obtain more than one per week, so plan your orders ahead of time, especially if you want two copies at once for dual-wielding.
The Silvermoon Weapon Wrap is often cheaper on the auction house than gathering the reagents to craft it yourself — check the prices before spending your time.
Gloaming Alloy and Sterling Alloy are intermediate Blacksmithing materials. You can buy them on the auction house or smelt them yourself from ores mined in Eversong Woods and the surrounding zones.
The transmog becomes available immediately after obtaining the item — you don't need to equip it in a slot; it's enough to pick it up and unlock the collection.
If there's no Blacksmith with the required specialization in your guild, use the "Crafting Orders" tab in the professions section, where you can find and order work from unfamiliar players directly through the in-game system.
