Developers' Notes
The first days of Mythic raids and Mythic+ dungeons showed that some specializations are performing below expectations, so we are slightly increasing their numbers to improve their effectiveness.
Death Knight
Frost
- All damage dealt increased by 4%. Does not affect PvP.
Druid
Feral
- All damage dealt increased by 3%. Does not affect PvP.
- Damage of Feral Frenzy reduced by 8%. Does not affect PvP.
Developers' Notes
Our goal is to increase the raid damage of Bestial Wrath without increasing its Mythic+ dungeon damage, which is already at a competitive level.
Hunter
Beast Mastery
- All damage dealt increased by 4%. Does not affect PvP.
Survival
- All damage dealt increased by 4%.
Mage
Arcane
- Burden of Power now increases the damage of Arcane Blast by 25% (was: 5%) and the damage of Arcane Barrage by 15% (was: 5%).
Developers' Notes
Arcane's Sunfury is falling slightly short of our single-target damage expectations.
Priest
Shadow
Developers' Notes
The damage of Shadow Word: Death was insufficient even during the execute phase, so we are significantly increasing its power to fix this situation. To improve damage in multi-target situations, we will focus on some area damage sources and shift some power away from certain single-target damage sources in favor of Shadowy Apparition damage.
- Damage of Shadow Word: Death increased by 80%.
- Damage of Mind Blast and Void Blast reduced by 10%.
- Damage of Shadowy Apparition and Void Apparition increased by 35%.
- Phantasmal Pathogen now increases the damage of Void Apparitions against targets affected by Shadow Word: Insanity by 30% (was: 50%).
- Mind Devourer now allows direct-damage spells to transfer 25% of their damage to other targets with Vampiric Touch (was: 20%).
- The Void Spike of the Voidwraith now deals 25% more damage to additional targets.
- The Mind Sear of the Voidwraith now deals 25% more damage.
Warrior
Arms
Developers' Notes
Arms' single-target damage is still below planned levels, especially for the ability Execute.
- Damage of Execute increased by 20%. Does not affect PvP.
- Damage of Overpower increased by 10%. Does not affect PvP.
